Big Ring Ranch MTB Enduro

BRR Enduro

The 3rd annual Big Ring Ranch MTB Enduro is back at it Saturday, September 13, 2014.  All the action takes place at the Big Ring Ranch just 15 minutes northwest of Downtown Lincoln.

BRR is nearly 400 acres of hilly Virgin Prairie fields and wooded draws.  The terrain offers up a great mixture of punchy climbs, “prairie fire roads” and fast, flowing single track.  The course, currently a 7.5 mile loop, hammers competitors with 800’of climbing, per lap.  The Big Ring Ranch holds its reputation as the toughest Mountain Bike race in Nebraska.

The main event for the Big Ring Ranch is still the 60-mile MTB Endurance Race featuring a solo and team competition for men, women and coed teams.  A combined cash prize list of $2625.00 is being offered in the Men and Women’s Pro/Open Solo competitions.

The 30-mile race, new in 2013, also returns using the same route as the longer 60-mile endurance race. Races for Men and Women’s age divisions will be offered. There is no team competition for the 30-mile race. Registration for the 30 mile and 60 mile races is available online only at http://www.usacycling.org/register/2014-1602.

Hosted by the White family, the Big Ring Ranch MTB Enduro is unlike any other mountain bike marathon events in Nebraska as it is held on private land owned by local mountain biker, Will White and his family. The course, entirely built from scratch, is continually evolving.  Every year we are adding new sections and tweaking the flow to make it a fun, yet challenging race venue.  A new Rock Garden section is in the works for the 2014 edition.
